“Miami Connection” Live! w/ Graham Elwood, Kathleen Wilhoite & Susanna Brisk

Play

Graham Elwood (“Comedy Film Nerds”) & Susanna Brisk (“MILF Code”) proudly resent the cult classic, “Miami Connection.” They join me at the Hollywood Improv Lab for a live show for a very few (select) people.

The great Kathleen Wilhoite covers one of the terrible “songs” from “Miami Connection.” She also sings the song that she did in the movie “RoadHouse.” Yes, that “RoadHouse.” Hear Kathleen spill the beans on the onset drinking and drugging on a previous episode with Joel Stein.

Back to this episode… Here’s a trailer for the film and part of the original song that Kathleen covers.

“Just when you thought it was safe to take a pee”

Boobs, bombs and bazookas, throw in a killer snake (puppet) and this movie has it all! It’s “Hard Ticket to Hawaii.” Joey La Penna, Grace Kladstrup and Jim Conroy join me to take apart this cult classic. Jim also breaks down the the business of voice over acting and what movies are worth waiting for the end of the credits for. Take a listen to a funny episode above and watch the movie below.

From iTunes:A Hawaiian drug kingpin plans to flood the islands with narcotics financed by illegal diamond shipments to his private retreat. When his henchmen kill two DEA agents who were trying to stop the drug lord, the Agency sends in two of its best agents to break up the drug ring and take out the leader.

Nicko enjoys”Aerobi Cide” AKA “Killer Workout”

“Listen to the podcast on the player thingy, or I’ll shoot!”

We  talk about “Aerobi Cide” AKA “Killer Workout.” A movie so nice they named it twice. The killer in this film uses a safety-pin… I’m sorry, a giant novelty store, baby Huey sized safety-pin. The movie also offers lots of bad dialogue and tons of 80’s aerobic outfits. You can watch the movie uncensored right here, below! Watch it, tell us what you think.Listen to the podcast!

From IMDB.com Two years ago, a young woman named Valerie was burned after entering a tanning salon. Now, her twin sister, Rhonda runs a local gym where all of a sudden, people are being murdered.

The director found it very hard working with the director of photography because “He had no respect at all for me and fought me all the way on every single thing we shot.”
